The "Planty" in Paczków is a green area located on the outside of the former town fortifications. It was created in the 19th century as a result of filling in the moat and subsequent plantings – mainly lindens, plane trees, and ash trees. Currently, this part of Paczków is referred to as the green lungs of the town and constitutes a popular walking place.
Within the park, there is a necropolis of medieval origin. Burials took place there until the 1870s. In its central part, a late-Renaissance cemetery church was erected, which was destroyed at the end of World War II.
