The park on Bolko Island in Opole encompasses natural deciduous forests and picturesque meadows, canals, and ponds, which create a natural and cultural park setting. On the terrace by the main entrance begins the historic, main viewing axis of the park, which divides it into two parts. At its end, the axis is crowned by a landscape interior, created by a pond with an island and a terrace with a cafe building. Next to the pond grows a monumental specimen of a pedunculate oak known as the Piast oak. In the vicinity of the park, there is a Zoological Garden and many walking and cycling paths, several ponds, and canals. There is also the so-called "Glade" ("Polana") – a meeting place for the youth of Opole.
