The 800th Anniversary Park in Opole is a modern town park established at the beginning of the 21st century, located on Bolko Island, between the Oder river and the Relief Canal (Kanał Ulgi). About three thousand trees and several thousand shrubs grow in the park, as well as a flower meadow – a paradise for bees, bumblebees, and other pollinating insects. The park area is surrounded by a path for walkers, cyclists, and rollerbladers; it also features a modern playground, a family and relaxation zone with a zipline, and educational boards. Practical information: The facility is generally accessible. Free admission. Free parking from Bolkowska Street.
