The Municipal Park in Nysa is a historic 19th-century park with an old tree stand that is about 150-170 years old. It is divided into a park part and a forest part. In total, it has an area of over 40 hectares and is maintained in the style of an English landscape garden.
From the northern side, its border is marked by the Nysa Kłodzka river and a water channel. On the eastern border of the park, there are picturesque corners – the old moat, as well as the Swan Pond and the Gondola Pond.
The unique appearance of the park is created by the Młynówka Canal and the Bielawski Canal and its numerous branches with floating jetties. The park features, among others, black elderberry, red-flowering currant, common spindle, and common hazel, common beech, pedunculate oak, small-leaved linden, as well as the common yew, which is protected in Poland. On some trees, there are nesting boxes for birds and bats. Sightseeing is facilitated by an information board, as well as markings and descriptions of trees. Asphalted alleys run through the park area, favoring walking, running, cycling, and rollerblading.
