The Municipal Park in Prudnik was created in 1880 on the initiative of the Town Beautification Society, with the aim of connecting forest areas with the urban fabric. One of its founders was the Prudnik industrialist and patron Hermann Fränkel. The park was laid out in the English style. Today, integral elements of its landscape include, among others: the Monument of the 1000th anniversary of the Polish State and the 700th anniversary of the Town of Prudnik along with the neighboring fountain, tennis courts with a wooden Swiss-style cottage, a playground with a football and basketball court, a concert gazebo, and a statue of the goddess Diana. Practical information: The facility is generally accessible. Free admission. Free parking on Gimnazjalna Street.
