The Arboretum Park in Prószków is located on a slight elevation in the northern part. It is popularly called Pomology by the residents, from the name of the district when the Royal Pomological Institute operated there. It is an arboretum park where several hundred genera, species, and varieties of plants, mainly trees and shrubs from Europe, the Middle East, China, Japan, Siberia, the Caucasus, Africa, and the Americas, grow in various groupings. The park also contains historic buildings of the former pomological institute, as well as industrial and residential buildings. On the northern outskirts of the park, there is a 20th-century building complex of the Józef Warszewicz School Complex.
