The "Staw nowokuźniecki" (Nowa Kuźnia Pond) observation tower in Prószków is a viewpoint offering a view of the reserve in Nowa Kuźnia. In addition to the pond, it also includes its immediate surroundings – a wide strip of wet meadows overgrown with willow and alder. In the reserve, apart from the water caltrop, many species of rare aquatic plants grow, including: white water lilies, yellow water-lilies, floating fern, as well as lesser and common bladderworts. The reserve area is also a place where rich waterfowl and marsh avifauna occurs – black stork, Eurasian bittern, little bittern, Eurasian hobby, and Eurasian penduline tit live there.
The tower is located on one of the platforms whose sequence surrounds the pond. Auxiliary platforms enable ornithological observations.
