It protects the contact zone of volcanic rocks with Triassic and Cretaceous sedimentary rocks. It was created to preserve rare profiles and biological phenomena. The reserve contains volcanic tuffs, an ash cone protected as a natural monument, veins, and basalt columns. The reserve is located near the St. Anne Basilica. Educational paths run through it, and the more interesting objects have been marked and described. Practical information: The facility is generally accessible.
