The "Biesiec" reserve is located within the "Mount St. Anne" Landscape Park and the "Mount St. Anne" Natura 2000 area, near the village of Ligota Górna. It stretches over two elevations with picturesque limestone outcrops: Biesiec (350 m above sea level) and Wysocka or Kamienna Góra (385 m above sea level). The purpose of its creation was to protect the beech forest with rare and legally protected plant species. Between the two parts of the "Biesiec" nature reserve, a tourist trail and a nature path run from Mount St. Anne to Ligota Dolna via Żyrowa.
