The "Lesisko" reserve is located within the "Mount St. Anne" Landscape Park and the "Mount St. Anne" Natura 2000 area. It was created to preserve beech forest communities with over a century-old beeches surrounded by deep karst ravines intersecting the slopes of the Chełm Ridge. Rare plant species under strict protection, including the white helleborine, occur in its area. The world of fauna is represented by the stock dove, grey-headed woodpecker, collared flycatcher, and hazel dormouse, as well as red deer, roe deer, wild boar, and marten. Within the borders of the reserve runs a fragment of the nature and educational trail "From Żyrowa to Mount St. Anne".
