"Barucice" Reserve

The "Barucice" reserve, located in the Stobrawa Landscape Park, is the second largest protected area in the Opole Voivodeship. It was established to preserve valuable forest communities: riparian and broadleaved forests, with rare plant species subject to legal protection. The occurrence of 11 protected plant species and many rare ones was recorded in the reserve. Over 30 species of animals live there, including the black woodpecker, collared flycatcher, goshawk, golden oriole, and raven. Entry to the reserve is prohibited. Practical information: The facility is generally accessible. Access is limited. Parking spaces along the road leading from Magnuszowice.
