"Leśna Woda" Reserve

The "Leśna Woda" reserve lies at a distance of approx. 1.5 km north of the village of the same name, within the Stobrawa Landscape Park. It was created to protect a natural mixed forest with a large share of European larch. The age of the trees growing in it reaches 160 years. European larch and Scots pine are the most numerously represented, and the common beech as well as oaks and hornbeams are also relatively numerous. Among the most interesting plant species found in the reserve are the lily of the valley, common ivy, and Martagon lily. The world of fauna is represented by wild boars, roe deer, squirrels, hares, shrews, frogs, and red wood ants. Entry to the reserve is prohibited, but a bicycle trail runs along its eastern border. Practical information: The facility is generally accessible. Free parking at Stanisława Staszica Square.
