The monument to the fallen in World War I and II in Mochów was created after 1918 on the initiative of the residents. The two-part monument placed on a multi-step base was originally dedicated to the soldiers coming from the village who fell during World War I, which is indicated by the inscriptions in German placed on the pedestal. Above the inscriptions, one can see a sculpture allegorically depicting a wounded soldier over whom Christ is leaning. The pedestal is crowned with a cornice with the date 1914 – 1918 and the symbol of the Iron Cross. On the capital of the pedestal in a stone casing, a stone ball is placed. The side walls of the monument are inscribed with the names of the fallen.
In the 1990s, two plaques with the names of the village residents who fell during World War II were placed on both sides of the monument. At that time, a plaque with an inscription in Polish providing information about the purpose of funding the monument was also placed on the pedestal.
