The monument to the fallen in World War I in Miłowice commemorates the residents of the village who fell in World War I. Located next to the St. Luke the Evangelist Church, the monument was made by the master stonemason Julius Görlich from nearby Korfantów. The pedestal of the monument rests on a base built of stone. On its wall, decorated on the sides with half-columns, are engraved the names of the fallen, dates of birth and death, and the places where the soldiers died – Pozières, Lubliniec, Cambrai, Lemberg, the Somme, and the North Sea. In the finial of the pedestal, on a horizontal stone slab, an inscription is visible, and above it the dates: 1914-1918. Between them stands a cross with a bas-relief of Christ's head. Practical information: Sightseeing from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Free admission. Sightseeing time: 1 – 1.5 hours. Free parking spaces below the town hall building.
