The monument to the fallen in World War I and II in Jemielnica was established in 1932 on the initiative of the local branch of the Veterans' Association.
In 1945, the monument was devastated by Soviet soldiers. Its reconstruction took place in the 1990s. Along with the reconstruction of the monument, a stone wall was erected with plaques commemorating the fallen, missing, and those who died in prisoner of war camps and labor camps, as well as those who fell in combat on the fronts of World War II in the years 1939-1945, and also those murdered by Soviet soldiers in 1945.
