The monument to the fallen in World War I in Baborów is a brick facility in the shape of an arcade located next to the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, consisting of two walls connected by an arch. The dates and the names and surnames of the residents who fell on the fronts of World War I are engraved in the panels. Inside, there is a decorative plaque with a bas-relief depicting the crucifixion of Christ. Military symbols were placed on the arch, on oak branches. On one side, it is a soldier's helmet, and on the other – a sword as a symbol of chivalry and justice. In the middle, one can see the Iron Cross – the highest German military decoration. Practical information: The square is generally accessible. Free parking spaces at the GOSiR sports field.
