The monument to the fallen in World War I in Gierałtowice is located on a small elevation at the end of the alley in the church cemetery. The monument was erected to commemorate the victims of World War I.
The monument stands on a massive concrete plinth, surrounded by a low steel fence.
The walls of the obelisk are covered with the names of the village residents who died in armed struggles.
The monument is crowned with a Prussian cross with the dates 1914-1918 and the inscription INRI, as well as oak branches, which are the old Germanic symbol of bravery and courage.

The facility can be viewed from the outside. The facility is made available for guided tours as part of the European Heritage Days (September).
