The monument to the fallen in the Franco-Prussian War in Nysa is located by the slope at the end of Jaśminowa Street in an area that before World War II bore the name Davidshöh. The monument was erected in 1880 to honor the memory of the soldiers who fell in the Austro-Prussian War in 1866 and the Franco-Prussian War at the turn of 1870 and 1871. The monument, standing on a high pedestal, resembles a tomb crowned with a turret with a cross. The walls of the monument are decorated with decorative sculptures depicting ornamental elements – wreaths and chains. Practical information: The facility is available to view from the outside.
