The Hunter's Monument in Strzelce Opolskie is a monument in the form of a fountain built in 1929, according to the design of Theodor Kalide. It depicts the figure of an anonymous royal marksman symbolizing the hunters who, in the early Middle Ages, hunted the abundant game in the areas where the contemporary town is located. The bronze figure placed on a pedestal towers over the surrounding fountain and the vegetation integrated into it. The bronze figure was cast in the Royal Foundry in Gliwice. The monument is commonly associated with the Piast roots of the town and symbolizes the origin of the name Strzelce.
