The Monument to the Armed Deed in Głubczyce was created in 1985 to honor the memory of the people who died defending Poland's independence in the years 1939-1945. The monument was erected on the initiative of the town's residents in a square in the town center, on Koszarowa Street. It consists of concrete blocks, the arrangement of which resembles the eagle from the Polish coat of arms. In front of the structure stands a column with the head of an anonymous soldier, to which a flight of stairs leads. Patriotic and state ceremonies take place at the monument.
