The monument to the defenders of Przebraże in Niemodlin is a complex of objects erected in 2007 commemorating the figure of a legionnaire, Home Army soldier and commander of the partisan self-defense of Przebraże – Ludwik Malinowski and the Defenders of Przebraże. Przebraże was a village in Volhynia that heroically defended itself against bloody clashes with the Ukrainian Insurgent Army in the years 1943-1944. It is estimated that in the village, which numbered a thousand inhabitants before the war, about 20,000 Poles took shelter during the defense. After the war, a large part of the village's inhabitants settled in Niemodlin and the surrounding area. Among them was Ludwik Malinowski, who is buried in the local cemetery.
