The "Well of Love" in Prudnik is a sculpture depicting a boy sitting on an old street well and a girl looking at him from the wall of a neighboring tenement house. They are Wawrzek and Wiewióra, the heroes of a legend – a couple who could not be together, and the well became a symbol of their unfulfilled love. The content of the legend can be read on a plaque placed next to the image of Wiewióra. According to tradition, to be lucky in love, it is enough to touch the bird sitting on Wawrzek's shoulder. The initiator and funder of the monument is the Franciscan Antoni Dudek. The figures of Wawrzek and Wiewióra were designed by Agata Wilczek and cast by Wiktor Haluopczok from Opole.
