The castle gate in Biała Nyska is the only existing element of a brick residence from the 16th century. The facility stood on the site of a castle erected at the end of the 13th century by Bolko I the Strict, the Duke of Jawor. The two-story palace was built on a nearly rectangular plan and had an inner courtyard. The form of one of the palace wings was enriched by a soaring, Neo-Renaissance tower. Next to the residence, whose prototype was the palace in Moszna, there was an English-style park with a pond. The structure, along with the entire village, was burned down by Soviet soldiers in March 1945. The remains of the walls were dismantled in the 1970s.
