The brewery in Namysłów is a brewing plant located on the premises of the Namysłów castle. Brewing traditions in Namysłów date back to the 14th century – from this period comes a mention of the existence of municipal breweries and the right to brew beer. In the first half of the 15th century, a Hospitaller brewery existed at the castle in Namysłów. In the second half of the 19th century, after settling in Namysłów, it was bought by August Haselbach – a German brewer originating from Thuringia. In 1944, the subsequent owners evacuated the company to the town of Feldkirchen near Munich. After World War II, the plant was nationalized and production was restored. To this day, the hoppy beverage is produced in the brewery, which is exported from the town to many global markets. Practical information: The facility can be viewed from the outside.
