The Cemetery of Soviet Soldiers in Kluczbork is a necropolis where soldiers of the Soviet army who fell in the battles for Kluczbork during World War II are buried. It was laid out on the site of a Jewish cemetery destroyed by the Nazis. On its premises rest 6,278 Soviet soldiers, among whom 2,081 names have been successfully identified. On the graves of the identified soldiers, one can see name plaques with medallions. The central element of the cemetery is a socialist realist concrete monument with columns and a sculpture of a woman with a bouquet of flowers in her hand. The necropolis was renovated at the beginning of the 21st century. Practical information: The facility can be viewed from the outside. Sightseeing time: 30 minutes.
