The mid-market building complex in Paczków consists of 17th- and 18th-century tenement houses and houses rebuilt in the 19th century in the Classical, Historicist, or Eclectic styles. Among the most valuable monuments of the Paczków market square buildings is, among others, the magnificent house at Rynek 33, where a stellar Gothic vault of the four-bay ground floor has been preserved. House No. 3 is decorated with sgraffito decorations, and in houses No. 17 and 48, you can see Baroque gables. Moreover, the corner tenement house No. 55 from 1870 deserves attention, where at the beginning of the 20th century the "Under the Golden Cross" inn was located, and in the 1920s – the Hotel Sachs. An inn was also located at the address Rynek 50, in a house from the early 19th century, crowned with a pediment with a characteristic sun motif. In the 19th century, tenement houses with Historicist facades, crowned with an attic (Rynek 9, 14, 15, Narutowicza 2 Street), covered with rustication and stucco, were created. Rich facade decoration, including partially preserved decorative window joinery, can be seen on the tenement house at the corner of the Market Square and E. Plater Street.
