The Town Hall in Namysłów is one of the few fully preserved secular buildings from the Gothic period and constitutes a valuable testimony to the history of Silesian art. The two-story building with a 57-meter clock tower dates back to the second half of the 14th century. At the beginning of the 15th century, buildings housing the cloth hall, as well as bread and shoemaker's stalls, were added to its western part. At the beginning of the 17th century, the eastern part of the facade was rebuilt in the Renaissance style, and at the end of the 18th century, the town weighing house was built. In the following century, a beer tavern was arranged in the cellars.
At the beginning of the 21st century, the building underwent a thorough renovation, which allowed for the exposition of historic Gothic decorations, the medieval coloring of the facade, and 14th-century polychromes. Currently, the Namysłów town hall houses, among others, the local office of the Social Insurance Institution, the Registry Office, the branch office of the Kluczbork prosecutor's office, and a restaurant. Every day at 12:00 PM, the Namysłów bugle call is played from the town hall – a piece for three trumpets composed by Eugeniusz Odoj, a longtime teacher at the State Music School and a distinguished citizen of the town.
