The Town Hall in Strzelce Opolskie was erected in the 1840s, on the site of older buildings destroyed in fires. In 1911, the facility was partially rebuilt, and at the end of World War II, it was destroyed. It was rebuilt only in the 1960s based on old, pre-war plans. The town hall is a three-story building erected in the Neo-Gothic style, distinguished by two large avant-corps, connected at the front by a portico supporting a balcony with an iron balustrade. From the back stands a tower crowned with a decorative cornice and a frieze, covered with a high helm roof with two clearances, which is open to visitors. In the tower, you can see the clock face and the winding mechanism removed from the old clock, and right by the entrance, in a special display case, there is a historic carillon. A panorama of the entire town stretches from the observation deck.
In front of the building stands the marksman's fountain from the 1920s, and on its other side – a Monument dedicated to the victims of wars and violence. Currently, the town hall is the seat of local authorities.
