The Water Tower in Biała is a Renaissance structure built at the beginning of the 17th century from the foundation of Count Georg von Proskowsky. It is one of the few surviving facilities that were part of water supply networks from before the industrialization period. The task of the tower was to supply water to the castle in Biała. The structure is located outside the perimeter of the defensive walls, in an area significantly lowered in relation to the old part of the town.
The 20-meter-high tower was built on a rectangular plan, using stone and brick. The entrance to the interior was placed in the southern wall, in an arcaded niche crowned with a semi-circular arch. The tower was built up at the beginning of the 20th century, when the municipal authorities sought to repair the catastrophic state of the water supply equipment. Its current appearance is the result of a renovation carried out at the beginning of the 21st century.
