The stone and earth dam on the Sarni Potok stream in Głuchołazy is a mining structure used to dam up water, located on the Gold Miners' Trail. It belongs to the oldest hydrotechnical monuments in Silesia. The facility is 15 meters long and 3 meters wide. Thanks to the construction of the dam – whose purpose was to dam up water to a height of 2 meters – a reservoir was created, which served to maintain an adequate amount of water in the washers during the summer period. It is assumed that it had an area of approx. 600 square meters.
