The railway bridge in Racławice Śląskie, also called the "Hanging" bridge, is a crossing over the valley of the Osobłoga river, which was opened in 1904. It was built in place of the former arcade bridge with a stone structure, destroyed by a flood at the beginning of the 20th century. The bridge is unique on a national scale due to the application of a single-span structure with a span length of 119 meters. In 1921, Silesian insurgents planted explosives under the pillars of the bridge, which led to a temporary halt of traffic on the crossing. The bridge was part of the railway line between Racławice Śląskie and Głubczyce, which was decommissioned at the beginning of the 21st century. Practical information: Sightseeing on Thursdays, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM or by prior telephone arrangement. Free admission. Sightseeing time: 1 hour. Free parking spaces by the building.
