The PKP railway station building in Głubczyce was built in the second half of the 19th century on the Racibórz – Racławice Śląskie railway line.
It is distinguished by a shape resembling a locomotive, with an over 20-meter tower imitating a steam engine's chimney. The ground floor and first floor resemble the boiler of the machine, and the superstructure – the train driver's cabin. The facility, which is an exact copy of the station in Thessaloniki that existed until the 1950s, was the setting for the shooting of the movie "Triumph of the Spirit" set in Greece, starring Willem Dafoe, in 1989. During the filming of the production, the station was decorated with Nazi flags, and the main wall bore the inscription: Thessaloniki.
The building was in use until the beginning of the 21st century, when railway connections to Głubczyce were liquidated.
