The highland hillfort in Włodzienin is a remnant of a medieval knightly watchtower seat, situated on a natural elevation by the historic road leading from Silesia to Moravia. The hillfort, called "Swedish entrenchments" by local residents, is located in the southern part of the village, on the promontory of the high terrace of the Troja river.
It consists of two parts. The southern part has the shape of an irregular oval, with the ruins of the St. Nicholas church surrounded by a cemetery with graves probably dating back to the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. From the northern side, a lower part in the shape of a regular oval adjoins it. Both parts are separated by a wide and deep cross-trench. On the eastern side of the facility, there is a deep ditch separating the hillfort from the flat fields.
A tourist route runs through the area of the hillfort, and next to it is the History Park, where historical reenactments and military picnics take place during the season.
